Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar bourbon seasoning with a teaspoon of olive oil to form a paste. Rub this paste all over the pork chops.
  4. Place the pork chops on one side of the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with half of the BBQ sauce.
  5. On the other side of the sheet, arrange the green beans. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper and toss to coat.
  6. Slice the lemon in half and squeeze the juice of one half over the green beans. Cut the remaining half into wedges for serving.
  7. Place the biscuits (if using pre-made) on the baking sheet alongside the pork and green beans.
  8. Roast for 20-25 minutes, until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F and the biscuits are golden.
  9. In the last 5 minutes of cooking, dot the green beans with butter and brush the pork chops with the remaining BBQ sauce.
  10. Remove from oven. Let the pork rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish green beans with lemon wedges.

Recipe Tips

For extra tender pork chops, let them rest 5 minutes before slicing.

If using frozen green beans, thaw and pat dry before roasting to avoid excess moisture.

Feel free to swap the brown sugar bourbon seasoning with your favorite spice blend.
